Dear EQT: We are confused as to your stated intention to maintain strong community relations. If your intention is to keep us updated, then why are you having your surveying contractors, Coates Field Service, contact landowners before you contacted our local government? If your intention is to be considerate, why are you trying to begin your project before taking the concerns of our community into consideration? Floyd is a strong community and we DO talk to one another, respect each other and each other’s property, and take care of one another. We do not understand why you do not seem to be willing to live up to your own explicit statements. We do not trust you to protect the beautiful Appalachian landscape that we are determined to protect and preserve. Strong, healthy neighborhoods are made up of neighbors who talk to one another, who respect each other and each other’s property, and who take care of one another. At EQT, we pledge to do our part to build strong, neighborly relationships: We’ll keep you updated on the projects on which we are working and where. We’ll be considerate of land owners and their land, as well as the beautiful Appalachian landscape where we are so privileged to work. https://eqt/ourresponsibility/good-neighbor.aspx
