Dear Elizabeth Shelton, Tomorrow is the day we lay you down to - TopicsExpress

Dear Elizabeth Shelton, Tomorrow is the day we lay you down to rest and unfortunately due to work complications I will not be able to make the final goodbye so I thought I would write it now. Life isnt easy at times and sometimes successes are far apart in time but no matter what obstacle you were given in life you did 1 heck of a job at being successful. Youre a very beautiful daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin. Youre a beautiful and wonderful friend, coworker, and stranger to some. Also, in time you will be a beautiful grandmother and great grandmother. I believe the true characteristics that make you who you are made me fall in love with the person that you are. Always willing to lend a helping hand and word, gorgeous smile and a tremendously catching laugh. Sometimes you just knew when to just listen. It dont believe it was fate that happened but instead destiny. To leave a mark that molded your very existence into the lives of so many people and perhaps changed others outlook on life is truely remarkable. Pearl Forker, Douglas Shelton, and Wendy L. Edwards, my heart goes out to you in this sad time, but dont let it change who you are. You were obviously a great impact on Elizabeth and helped make her into the beautiful person she is today and she wouldnt want you to change that. Elizabeth, I vow to always keep the love and support youve shown me always in my heart, to never forget your smile and laugh. I vow to always watch over Jeremiah and Haylen, to make sure they never stray from the path youve shined light on. To love and support them as you have so generously shown me and others. Ill protect them with my last dying breath as I do you. I know youll always continue to watch over them and us and turn our darker days brighter. I believe that saying goodbye means to never see you again so this I cannot say. For I see you every waking moment and sometimes even in my sleep. Tears come alot these days and im trying as youve told me to suck it up buttercup but its hard. I just want you to know that Im very proud of the wonderful exquisite woman that you are and Im so glad God gave me the chance to have you in my life..not only as family but as a friend. I asked God to keep you close to his side...not only are you too bright to be anywhere else but also as a reminder and beacon to keep me on the path where 1 day we will see each other again and Ill wrestle you for the last Sunday donut. I cant wait to hug you again and to see your smile..to hear your laugh. With this I say my parting words, farewell Elizabeth Shelton, I will always love and miss you. With all of my love, Bob H. Forker Jr.
