Dear Engineers, We, at PEC, are striving hard to convince the international organizations to recruit engineers from Pakistan so that the matter of unemployment of engineers could be resolved. Last week, we shared some job opportunities in UAE on PEC Facebook page with clear requirement of degree. Despite that, many people have sent their CVs without reading the degree requirement. Hundreds of emails received in the company’s email account have no relevance to the job description or the degree requirement. This has brought shame for us as the company has shown serious reservations for future cooperation. I request all the engineers to please go through the job description and degree requirement before sending CVs or applying for any job. How can a company hire a mechanical engineer for an electrical engineering job? And even people having business degrees have sent their CVs for engineering jobs which is nothing but wastage of their own time as well as the time of recruiting agency. We are trying to obtain opportunities for all disciplines and one should wait for the right opportunity that matches ones experience and qualification. Please note that bombarding a company’s email inbox with the irrelevant CVs will not only jeopardize the whole recruitment process but will also bring shame to our country. Your cooperation and responsible behavior will help us in generating more and better earning opportunities inside and outside Pakistan. Engr.
