Dear Everyone, Theres a ton of replies flowing in from everyone and we are drowning in all the damage. We will do our absolute best to list as many points as possible with regards to the entire situation; STEPS TO START UP - We love our cats - We have a strong passion for cats - Researched a lot of cat cafes all over the world - Carefully planned for and designed the premises - Hygiene emphasis is top-notched - Imported 5 x Honeywell Air Purifiers from USA - Imported Drinkwell water fountains, Hagen Catit water fountains, Petmate food dispensers - Researched and sourced for the best cat food in the world and decided on one of the best 6 star premium cat food, Wellness Core - Researched thoroughly about all matters related to cats; medical, health, grooming, habits, behaviour, vaccinations, diseases, parasites, viruses, illnesses, generally everything related to keeping a cat - Researched the best ways to renovate and decorate for our babies; what sort of furniture would be best/safest for them, most comfortable environment for them, best litter sand, best shampoo, best veterinary care for them - Carefully monitor their health and medicate as early as possible - Carefully hire the best staff to take care of the cats MISTAKES Unfortunately, along the way, we have made a few mistakes that cost us very dearly. - Some of the ex-staffs that were hired were negatively opinionated and rebellious, where they were not happy with almost every aspect of their job, the cafe, and their employer, the cafe owner. These ex-staffs that have left are very hateful and have intentions to destroy the cafe, go all out to make the business fail, and to even to cause harm to the cafe owner - Some of our cats have unfortunately passed away despite our best attempts to take good care of everyone. Kindly note that we love all our cats very much and would never ever want them to die ever - Some of our cats have had medical related issues such as cat flu, spinal injury, fungal infections, but medical care has always been the best we can administer and are now completely recovered and healthy We would like to highlight that we are a new establishment (opened Sept 18) and have been continuously improving since. Whatever we have previously lacked before we did our very best to improve on. CHANGES WE HAVE IMPROVED UPON - Not allowing patrons to carry our cats - No cat treats to be fed by patrons - Step up on our veterinary and medical attention on our cats - Step up on preventive routine medication on our cats (such as Revolution, Deworming, and Anti-fungal Anti-bacterial shampoo) - Foster out the cats residing in the owners home amongst the crew so as to be able to have more eyes and hands caring for each cat - Improve on our grooming care for the cats - Improve on our training for the staff - Improve on our hiring process and we now have a harmonious family of cat loving, sociable, and capable staff that are able to work harmoniously within the cafe We acted on all feedback provided by patrons and it has been an eventful learning journey for us. We regret that this incident has deeply upset the public, but rest assured, we will continue to address all allegations to our absolute best.
