Dear Ewatch Member Can I make you aware that since my last email there have been three burglaries across the Denton West area. Please see below their locations and brief details of the crimes in the hope that this will enable you to target harden your own property. Burglary: 03/03/14 – Vinery Grove – Attempt burglary whereby the offender(s) have used an unknown implement to force open a rear door to the property. 12/03/14 – Gloucester Road – Unknown offenders force rear door to property, gain entry and remove a handbag and in doing so disturb the victim. When challenged, the offender makes off. 12/03/14 – Franklyn Close – Unknown offender(s) approach the rear of the property and using garden furniture climb through the kitchen window into the property and steal items from within. Theft From Motor Vehicle: 01/03/14 – Town Lane – Offender(s) approach insecure motor vehicle, enter said vehicle but are disturbed by a passing police patrol before making off. 02/03/14 – Earlston Ave – Unknown offender(s) approach secure motor vehicle, forcibly remove the front number plate and make off unseen. 10/03/14 – Kendon Grove – Unknown offender approaches insecure motor vehicle, enters same, stealing cash and making off, 10/03/14 – Cambridge Drive – Offender(s) approach locked motor vehicle gain entry by using an unknown implement and steal items from within.
