Dear FB Circle, a little update. What was planned to be a very busy month of my sabbatical journey has been stopped in its tracks. I have canceled General Assembly, Writers workshop and Jung seminar. I have been forced into house arrest by a little muscle behind the knee that is pulled and requires several weeks of rest, ice, compression and elevation followed by heat and stretching exercises. Luckily I am an old hand at dealing w leg problems and have braces, ice packs, heating pad and a walker plus an adjustable bed. So rather than running around I am at home and receiving company. Locals including UUCFL folk are invited to tell me when you would like to come over for take out and some conversation, pastoral care or just to watch TV and admire my books and art. I feel fine and am not in pain and can get around a little but am mainly lying or sitting in state. Not need for pity just plan to come see me and maybe pick up something at Walgreens on your way over. If I dont get volunteer company I will be forced to call you and assign duties. Friends who live too far away to do errands are invited to call and discuss the atrocities of the moment of which there are so many to choose from thanks to our bought and paid for government and the not so Supreme Court. That is all.
