I trust his efforts to bring truthful perspective to this situation, to the best of his ability. 30 MILLION Egyptians gathered in Tahrir Square on June 30th, in mass protest of the attempts to establish a hardcore Islamic Theocracy as the new government by now ousted Pres. Mohammad Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. Principled EGYPTIANS, hungry for Freedom, fought hard and lost their lives to rid themselves of the Mubarak regime a few years ago, in hopes of a true DEMOCRACY, JUST AS WE ENJOY. This religious leadership has marginalized Egyptian secularists, Christians, and even moderate Muslims. Our U.S. government, for reasons not really understood, previously undertook to support Morsi even after U.S. mainstream media reported that he was beginning to show his true colors. We MUST support Egyptian Citizens and their purposeful and legitimate overthrow of a government who is attempting to rule once again by tyranny. What the Egyptians have done en mass is no less than what OUR Forefathers did FOR US in living out the Declaration of Independence, by rejecting tyranny, overthrowing an oppressive government, and rejecting anything less than DEMOCRACY.
