Dear FB family, its been a long time since I have given an Anthony update. I have been asked by several people how hes doing so I will share his progress, along with a message from him. He is still slowly but surely recuperating day by day, God is healing him internally. He is awake, knows his first and last name and date of birth. Recognizes all family members and many life events, although some he still doesnt remember. He is moving all his body limbs, some stronger than others, he is not yet able to sit up on his own nor walk, but none the less, he is doing well. The most important miracle beside the healing of his physical body is the healing in his heart. On our Sunday visit this week, he made clear that he now understands, that the life he was living was self destructive and pulling him farther and farther away from a relationship with God, he has recommitted his life to the Lord and says he thanks God for going to the extreme and allowing this near death incident to happen, so that Anthony would have no choice but to stop and recognize he needed God. Through many tears he says this pain and tragedy was worth it to him to break the cycle of addiction within his family. He says in time he prays he can be the Godly daddy his little boy needs to continue in a cycle of hope, peace and love, in God. He thanks everyone who has been praying for him and our family, this miracle is a gift, not just for us to have a second chance together as a family, but for all those who have been connected to us through prayer and encouragement. God united His people for a common cause. Anthony says he hopes he can one day stand again to tell the world about the love of God and the saving power of Jesus Christ, he says even if he has to do it from a wheel chair. 8-) Thank you.
