Dear FB friends, while we are welcoming the New Year enjoying the security of home, country , freedom,family, friends, loved ones, there are people who may have never experienced such a secure life. China and Tibet are like David and Goliath. It seemed impossible to beat the Giant with a catapult but it happened. I urge you to empathise with the silent fear our people live with everyday, pray for the many who demonstrated the outburst by burning themselves while a friend or relative is shooting the extreme step. Tibetans are the Davids today but one day our voices will be heard. Although i m a nobody,I met Mr Gere recently when he was travelling to Mundgod and thought it was correct to thank him for his unfailing support for the Tibetan cause.
