Dear Facebook Family & Friends, I have an URGENT prayer request for someone that many of you know and have known for years. I just ended a telephone call with Charles Landers that was instigated by his son Jacob LandersJacob Landers through my husband. For over a year, Charles has been having health issues. Last week, Charles went to the hospital because he was so weak and was sent from Ft. Smith to Little Rock to UAMS Medical Center. Charles has been through a plethora of tests since last week and most of the weekend - CT scans, MRIs, etc - and told me that they think he has Multiple Myeloma which is a cancer of the blood of which there is no cure - remission yes - a long hard battle and treatment will take 4 - 5 weeks and maybe even longer. They are keeping Charles stable at this time and he is undergoing dialysis daily. Charles & his entire family are scared which is VERY understandable under the circumstances. While there are many that are already praying for Charles & his family, we all know that there can NEVER be too many prayers. I have requested that Charles and family be added to my churches prayer list and I an now requesting that each and every one of you take a minute out of your day today and every day as well as sharing with your church family and putting them on MANY prayer lists. We have all heard of the miracle of prayer. Lets all share our faith and support this family with our prayers. Charles is in room F707 of the Cancer wing at UAMS Little Rock.
