Dear Facebook Friends: Last week Andy had surgery at the OSU James Cancer Center on his upper Leg (its called the femur}. The surgery was sucessful and returned home to recover. We were all happy to have him close by and help Tami and the boys when they need us. Each brother made their visit Saturday and Sunday. Tamis brother Ted Warnecke was here all week. He took care of several things that needed fixed and repaired. Even helped cook a few meals. Andy doesnt have much of a appetite and consequently Tami is feeding him through the J Tube to supplement his nutrition. Getting around in the wheel chair which is faster than the walker and sometimes he even catches Tami lol. Starting June 2 in will recieve 4 large doses of radiation to the Femur Bone. In hope os relieving most of the pain. Chemo will resume around June 9th. Many visitors this week and one was Pastor Jim Klausing who lives in Findley. We ejoyed his visit very much and will meet again soon. All of you who visit, send cards and call are such a blessing to our family. Some days can be difficult for this Mama and than someone calls or facebook friends brighten my day and I thank you so much. Love to all Karen & family.
