Dear Facebook Friends, The post below is from my very dear friend Katie Mryglod. This poor pup is in Carlyle Sask just outside of Regina. He had those quills in his face for almost 6 days and could not eat or drink. If you know of anyone that would love to have this gorgeous dog please message me. We have another awesome friend who works for West Jet and helping with flight expenses if the right person, in another provence, is willing to give this sweet guy a home. And if you are not interested, please share. Thank you Hey all, I have a bit of a situation. Reaching out to see if anyone would be able to help or have ideas. We have rescued a dog in the last week that has had a bit of a rough time. His name is Hogan and he lived at the lake where I live for the last few years. He was abandoned by his previous owner about five months ago and has been living homeless at the lake with local residents that of been feeding him here and there. This is the fourth time that weve taken him in and and brought him to the vet because of the horrible conditions hes been in. Each time the vet has contacted the owner because that is legally what they have to do and each time hes been released into their care just to end up back on his own. We had it changed this time so he is currently under our family name and he is no longer allowed to be released to them. Hes now up to date with all the shots and hes been well taken care of with no future health concerns in sight. Hes a husky cross that is about three years old with an amazing temperament. Hes great with kids, other dogs and cats, his only downfall is that he needs to go to a home that has a fenced yard and he would need to be leashed while on walks. I live in south east Saskatchewan and it makes it extremely difficult to rehome or find foster homes for stray dogs. Ive contacted a few of the rescues around here, there is only a couple and theyre all full at the moment. Our family is willing to pay for him to fly to a location if anybody is able to help or know of anyone who would be able to help this guys situation it would be amazing.
