Dear Facebook friends, First I would like to say, Thanks. - TopicsExpress

Dear Facebook friends, First I would like to say, Thanks. Thanks for sharing your pictures, jokes, videos, prayer requests, political opinions, pictures of your meals, important information, successes, failures, and your day to day lives. But, as many of you may already know, I have taken on a new job. And, in my belief, I should probably limit myself on social media. So, in the next couple of days, I will cut my friends down to about 50, AND re-evaluate my privacy settings. HOWEVER, my wife, Missi Moore Miniard will still document our every move via Facebook and other social media. Thats how she rolls. Friend her. So, today I moved out of my band room of 12 years. Even though Ive prayed about this several times, and I know Im making the right move, it was very emotional. Every Beatles poster that I removed had a story behind it. Every little gift that Id received over the years went in to a box, and a memory went with it. I smiled, laughed and cried; all at the same time. I can honestly say that Ive never looked at working at Actis as a job. Its been my passion. Its been my love. We have celebrated promotions, new cars, new babies, and accomplishments. Weve also suffered sickness and death. Through the good and the bad, weve always been there for each other. Thats what families do. When the truck was loaded with all my personal things that had collected in that room over the past twelve years, and we were about to leave the room. It happened. My closure. Before I flipped out the lights to go home, I saw my soulmate Missi standing on my podium. In tears, she motioned for me to join her there. I did. We cried. We hugged. We prayed. We prayed for thanks; thanks for 12 years of blessing us. For that, I am eternally grateful. Thanks be to God. Love yall, Mr. Miniard EX- Director of Bands O.J. Actis JHS P.S. Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind dont matter, and those who matter dont mind. P.P.S. Former Actis Students . . . I totally made up the HALLOWEEN STORY. Never saw the guy in the Booger Green Shirt. Ever.
