Dear Facebook friends, I have a lot of people to thank for making UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF BLUEGRASS happen. This is one huge list of folks and there is not enough room nor is there enough words to do this in a proper manner. I do not even know where to begin except fo just sayin thank you. This album was produced by Jim Mack and co produced by me. The pictures were taken by Sherri Wiegand. The layout design was done by Owen Mays who went out of his way with his busy music schedule. I found out later CD BABY has some different specs for the cover and we did not know that till the last minute. Jon Griffin came to the rescue while Owen Mays is on the road making lots of great music. Jon Griffin makes all those cool posters for the John Hartford Memorial Festival and he created the t shirt I am wearing on the album cover so ask him how to get one of those if you want one. The logo on my banjo was created by Michael McCartney of Musical Arts Marketing and it got to the banjo head by way of Sean Meehan of Cornbread Banjos & Guitars. Noah Bowles sold me the banjo and that banjo is on this albums recordings. Violet, the dog in the photos is my friend too. She kept my feet warm all winter long in Mill Spring, MO. Lots of great folks there that helped make my stay there a great one, Thank you MILL SPRING, MO. Lets not forget John Hotze who is partly responsible for my purchasing a derby hat and who also had me perform at the John Hartford Memorial Festival for 2012, 2013 and now this year. Big thank you to him and all the staff of the John Hartford Memorial Festival for giving me a place to play my music ast Bean Blossom, Indiana. That is a huge list of names to thank in itself. If you are reading this I should be thanking you too cause you are probably a part of the reasion I play music and you are more than likeley one of my Facebook friends. Thank you too. Thanks to Wayne Titsworth & Cathy Pippin who introduced my music to many people by all the photos and videos they make. Thank you big time. I owe Shelton Hank Williams III (Hank 3) a very giant thank you for puttin my music on his album with me singin. This has done so much for my music than I have ever imagined. Robert Perez & Kelley L. Perez whjo were there for me in times when I had no one else. Carolyn Rust Camp, Dana Armstrong, Tony Martinez, Jason Paul Phillips,Junction Ten and the Valley Fever!family.
