Dear Facebook friends, I have a story I would like to share - TopicsExpress

Dear Facebook friends, I have a story I would like to share with you. Its something that happened to me yesterday and I feel everyone needs to know. I was hiking at Big Bone Lick State Park. At the end of my hike I was coming down to my car when I saw a person laying in the parking lot. Upon first glance, I thought she was looking up toward the sky for inspiration on the account she had a notebook and coffee with her. I got to my car and set the alarm off to see if she would move on the account she was laying somewhat behind my car. No response. Ill be honest and say I started to back up when I got this feeling of something wasnt right. I decided to get out and ask her if she was alright. No response. I took her hand and again asked her to wake up. No response. Shook her shoulders. No response. At this point I was close enough to see her lips were starting to blue and she had a shallow breath. I administered the sternum rub... No response. Thank god Austin Moore was with me. We called 911. After further investigation there was a suicide note and she had a bag of opioids and a picture of a man in a hospital bed in the front seat of her car. We had just walked in to her commuting suicide. There are so many more details to the story, but if you are still reading this post; please remember! YOU ARE NOT ALONE. For Debbie, she felt the only way out was to commit suicide in a public area where a stranger could find her. I cant imagine how alone she felt and that breaks my heart. To conclude the story, she was loaded into the ambulance. She still had a pulse so I am optimistic she would survive. Im not posting this to be congratulated on saving a life. I am posting this because suicide is very real. Please reach out to someone if you ever have those thoughts. I refuse to find any of my Facebook friends in a parking lot alone. Im going to ask the my Facebook friends pray for Debbie that she survives this tough period in my life and the she makes a full recovery. If anyone works for the union police, I was wondering if you could find out if she survived.
