Dear Facebook friends and family, Let me first say that I enjoy - TopicsExpress

Dear Facebook friends and family, Let me first say that I enjoy being a part of your life through this outlet. I laugh at your jokes, I cry with you in your sorrow, rejoice with you in your joy, mourn your losses, take pride in your accomplishments and victories, pray with and for you, enjoy (so much) your photos, and just generally value keeping the connection that, without this outlet, would be difficult to maintain to the capacity Facebook affords. That said dear friends, there are times that you may share a post, thought, or idea that I may disagree with, maybe even offend me. When such things happen I choose to pass that post on by. After all, your Facebook page is just that...yours. Who am I to engage in debate about an opinion or thought you have shared? You didnt ask my opinion, you merely shared yours. Conversely, I will ask you to reciprocate that same respect that I show you. If you disagree with something I have posted, I ask you to contact me privately so that we may work out misunderstandings. If what I have posted offends you to such an enormous extent to inspire anger and subsequent snottiness and you do not feel the need to resolve that issue personally with me, please feel free to delete me from your friends list. I will not adjust or refrain from sharing my thoughts and opinions merely because someone may disagree with me. Thanks for your understanding.
