Dear Facebook users, Considering how some of you are unaware of the purpose of the like option, let me remind you what it actually means when you like any post, comment or picture. It means that you agree with it, you like it and you support the views/actions of the person whose post/picture/comment it is. Next time when you like any comment/post/picture promoting violence/bullying/racism or any social evil it means that YOU are SUPPORTING it. It doesnt make you a loyal friend when you like a disgusting, insulting and cheap thing your friend posts. It makes you an accomplice. It doesnt make you a supporter it makes you an enabler and it makes you a hypocrite every time you post anything condemning violence/bullying/racism or any social evil. Learn to differentiate between fun and humiliation. Considering how Facebook is all about likes and comments, believe it or not the more the likes any post/comment/picture get the more people believe in its authenticity. They assume it has to be correct considering how many people have liked it and it becomes hell for the person against whom the post is, it kills his/her self esteem which is worse than death. To make someone hate themselves has to be the worst thing you could ever do to anyone. Virtual life has taken over our real one and it does affect us. You never know what the other person is going through and how he/she is going to take your joke. Your idea of fun could be a nightmare for someone else.
