Dear Family & Friends, YEAH! We just received the long awaited results for the PET scan and there is still NO METASTSIS anywhere in Abls body. Tomorrow they will put in a pic line, the kids and I arrive in Houston Saturday night, and 8 hours of chemo treatment will begin on Sunday 8/3. When he returns home from treatment on Sunday, he will have a pump that will continue to release chemo for 4 days then the pump will be removed Friday and they give a shot to boost the white blood cells. The next round will begin on 8/24. Thankfully friends, who are missionaries from China, will be staying in our home while we are gone! We are so grateful to have reached our first stepping stone of 10K this morning. Abls estimated treatment time of 7 weeks has been extended to 4 months of treatment and a longer recovery.
