Dear Fans, This past weekend I posted a photo taken by Chad of himself and his training partner right after they had completed a 23 mile training run. Easily one of the most popular photos Ive ever posted to this page with as of this writing 750 likes and 23 comments. According to Facebook statistics was seen by nearly 6,800 people. Nothing short of an amazing response, except for one thing..... In the post was a solicitation for a donation. I didnt ask for much. Just a donation towards Chads marathon run. A donation to help those living with HIV and AIDS. The disappointing thing is after all those views, after all those comments, after all those likes only 23 people even clicked on the link out of those no one - thats right, no one - donated even a small amount. I know Ive asked for a lot from you up until now and many of you have come forth with donations. I am most grateful for those. However, if each of those likes had been accompanied by a simple five dollar donation, APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles) could have purchased over 550 bags of groceries that would have gone a long way to feed individuals who can no longer work because of this dreadful virus. Five dollars is what I spend in one trip to Starbucks. Less than I spend each day at work to buy lunch. Please consider clicking on this link to make that small donation to help someone in need.
