Dear Father, in spite of our most valiant effort, there are times we cant cast off our heavy hearts, our worries, our fears. While faith lends us strength, its very difficult at times to not wish for tangible, direct divine intervention, direction, or answers. The peaceful, quiet moments we should look forward to become an enemy to our peace instead; thoughts and feelings held at bay flow in and rob us of that peace. Serenity is hard fought for in this world of need, tragedy, disappointment, and negativity. Answers elude us making us feel inadequate to the challenges facing us. I pray, Father, for Your strength and for the demons that plague our lives to be expelled. I pray comfort for those whose hearts are aching and for them to know they are not alone. Thank You, Father, for the many blessings we remind ourselves of to offset those things which wish to overwhelm us. We thank You for the healing of those we bring before you for, though Youve enabled the talents of many capable doctors, it is Your hand that completes all that is endeavored. Please be with Jennifer as she faces surgery today and restore her to health. Please bless Caseys family as they deal with loss and heartache that they may find comfort and strength in You. Thank You for all the people who share their belief and faith here. There are many loved ones in need of You and Your healing in our lives. We pray all need is met in You. Please bless our loved ones near and far. Amen
