Dear Fellow Rotaractors, First of all, I would like to wish all of you a Merry Belated Xmas and Happy New Year 2015 in advance. I am writing to you to invite you to be a part of Session III of Rotaract Public Speaking Sessions which Rotaract Club of Jawalakhel Manjushree, Rotaract Club Patan, Rotaract Club of Patan South and Rotaract Club of Kathmandu has initiated with the purpose of helping Rotaractors improve their communication and public speaking skills. In Rotaract Public Speaking Sessions, We follow the basics of Toastmasters International. There are three basic parts to our sessions: the prepared speeches, table topics, and evaluations. In the prepared speaking portion of the session, we will have feature speakers who will give a prepared speech before the members present with the maximum time limit of 5 mins. Table topics is an extemporaneous speaking exercise where the speaker speaks in topic that is not known beforehand or an impromptu speaking with maximum time limit of 3 mins. For the evaluation we will have a Grammarian, Ah-Counter, Timer and General Evaluators for each speaker. We have been organizing the sessions first Saturdays of every month. So, if you would like to send your members as the Feature speaker or just to participate in our sessions please inform us beforehand. Please kindly find the details of the program below.
