Dear Fellow Students of the Ageless Wisdom and Esoteric Astrology, On March 23rd, 2011 (with the Sun in Aries and the seventh degree of Leo rising-- "THE CONSTELLATIONS OF STARS SHINE BRILLIANTLY IN THE NIGHT SKY"-- I began a series of video/audio commentaries on the Tibetan’s great and most occult book, Esoteric Astrology. I have called these commentaries by the name EAA—Esoteric Astrology Adventures. makara.us/04mdr/webinars/esotericastrology.html As of today, July 6, 2013, the first series of commentaries covering all the signs of the zodiac and the first 404 pages of the book are complete. Shortly, the most recently made commentaries will be put up on the Makara Website with all the others. Some 170 hours of programming are already up and ready for viewing and listening. In this first series of commentaries there are almost 200 mostly hour long programs covering every page of the first section of the book. Additional information on the decanates is also given from my own class material prepared for presentation in the astrology classes I have taught in Finland. The commentaries relate the subject of esoteric astrology to the Ageless Wisdom as a whole, and there are many strands from A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, Esoteric Psychology, The Rays and the Initiations, and others of the Tibetan’s books, woven into the discussion. The style of presentation is spontaneous. I simply read what Master DK has written and offer comment, elaboration and correlation. Many phases of the Ageless Wisdom are discussed as well as the relevance of the presented material to contemporary life and to the life of discipleship. I am grateful to my colleague Brett Mitchell for helping me get all these programs into presentable form and for his posting of them on the Makara Website (makara.us), long ago started by my colleague Vicktorya Stone. makara.us/04mdr/webinars/esotericastrology.html I think you will find much to study and assimilate. It is best to use the videos if you can, because the text of the book is shown, and comments are often appended—typed in real time. Also, a little video image in the upper left hand corner allows me to talk to you more directly. The audio segments of the programs may, however, be more useful for some, who don’t want to be glued to their computer, as, in most cases, studying the video requires. I will now move on to the second section of the book which Master DK considered even more important. Certainly it covers many expansive and abstruse subjects, beginning with the Science of Triangles. I hope you have the incentive and patience to take advantage of this astrological offering and interpretation of the Ageless Wisdom. I have also created other videos/audios on sections of The Old Commentary—for instance the “Law of Repulse” and these, too, are available on Makara. Also, you will find Adventures in Identification for those who have a passion for Oneness. Eventually DVD sets of the entire series, probably containing some 400 hours of programs, will be available for those who would like to have the whole series in their possession in more tangible form. I hope that the thoughts offered in these commentaries will stimulate your progressive thought, not only in relation to Esoteric Astrology, but in relation to the Ageless Wisdom as a whole. Humanity needs the Ageless Wisdom as never before; a deeper understand of human nature and human destiny is a must if humanity is to emerge victorious from its present challenges—very heavy challenges. I would like to encourage everyone who may read this little letter, to redouble your efforts to penetrate and assimilate the Ageless Wisdom and to offer it to humanity as a solution to many of its problems. This means, of course, that we have to learn to apply it in our own lives to solve the problems with which we are confronted. The opportunity to penetrate, assimilate and apply is now very strong.
