Dear Feminist, My name is Otlyn Black. Im a filmmaker and director from the US living in Sweden. Im researching for my feature film which aims to promote female equality and leadership. Its my dream, hope and goal to to create an influential film, that models appropriate male/female behavior, and inspires youths--especially boys--to respect, support, trust, love and value women as equals. My feminist views are based on what I consider to be common sense human rights (everyone should be valued and treated equally) and the fact that women are being discriminated against. Although I am a feminist, my knowledge and insight is limited. If you can help my research in any way, such as recommended reading, interviews, etc., Id be extremely grateful.
