Dear Folks, If you can see this post it was written to you. I apologize on behalf of myself and on the behalf of all the other religious people that you know. Most of us are doing what we are compelled to do. All of us have done a poor job that is plagued with self-righteousness, hypocrisy and outright error. The obvious problem is the way that we have represented ourselves and the God we suppose ourselves to represent. Most of us religious types believe in God. You most likely do as well. There is a God. A Creator. His handiwork surrounds us. If you cannot accept that then it is probably best we end the conversation at this point. If you are still reading you probably not only agree that there is a God but also accept that there is something special about humanity. We are not a plague upon the earth. We are a unique part of creation that has been given a special nature, a special and unique privilege. We are created in the image of our Father. We have the free will to turn towards our Father and to seek to be more like Him. We can choose to be his sons and daughters. We are not forced to love or seek our Father. He establishes loving relation only with those that choose to seek it. Nothing required other than that continual free will choice. I choose to be my Fathers son and to seek him within my full capability to do so. I hope the same for you. We can freely choose to turn away from our Creator, which is in essence the same decision as deciding we are fine where we are. Standing pat is not standing still. None of us are fine where we are. Lets just be honest with that assessment. We all need to seek to turn towards Father on his terms. Our terms are not acceptable. It matters what it means to the Creator, it matters not what it means to us. In his grace, he gives us a way to begin to approach him. He has given his Word. To begin or to continue this approach, look there. Look to the Word. Not sideways at ANY other man who is trying to butt into a vertical relationship which is man looking upward. Another man who walks in some or all the traits of self-righteousness, thinly veiled arrogance, blind hypocrisy, smug superiority, worldly unholiness, faithlessness, and so on. Kudos to all that have not bought into the extremely prevalent lies of religious garbage. Anyone that has a reasoning and functioning intellect instinctively knows that those that would be the sons of the Creator should not look just like the world. If you walk with the Creator why do you look the way that you do? Keep in mind that a vast majority of those in this world that claim to be people of the Word are anything but. The vast majority of even the most religious do NOT know the Word but instead are STEEPED in lies of religious dogma. Belief and practice does not follow the Word as can be easily observed. Do not be deceived by the subtle lies mixed with a majority of truth! As the Word in its entirety is approached by a willing heart, astounding things begin to happen. The falsehoods of religious tradition begin to crumble. The lies begin to die. The solid foundations of simple truth begin to take hold. Simple truth begins to build upon simple truth. In this, the Word begins its transforming work. It is important to not follow ANY men or their teachings in this. Toss out EVERYTHING and hear Fathers Word. No teachings, no commentary, no garbage. Trust no one. The Word will guide and teach you. Be brave. Be diligent. Do not turn to the left or to the right. As the Voice of our Father begins to guide you in spirit and truth you will finally start to change into something new. One who is beginning to look different to the world. Set apart. Growing in holiness. Growing in blessings according to the promises of the Word. The Word is not a curse so do not let men fool you as Adam and Eve were fooled at the tree. The Word is life. The Word is blessing. The Word is the loving hand of our Father extended towards his children. Fathers burden is light and his ways are pure. Father uses the broken misfits and ugly outcasts of the world to testify of him and his ways. In this, his children become more beautiful. In this, I too am being made beautiful though I come from an ugly place. I am starting to look like my Father as I seek to walk according to his will. Choose this very day what you will do. That is why we are all here, why we all draw breath. Seek the Creator and his ways. The treasures of his Word await. Turn from your ways and seek the ways of truth. There is a Creator and he loves you enough to show you the way to himself. All you have to do is choose. Peace and Shalom to you, Ty Wigal
