Dear Football lovers, I am delighted to announce a full game at international level ANFA taking Azkalroos, a Filipino National team associated in Australia. There has been number of hurdles including explaining to individual player about ANFA. I like to thank ANFA committee for working round the clock and am sure ANFA is proud to have such a dedicated team without any self motive. This game is an initiation of ANFA to get together all the football players, clubs and organisers such as NAWS, GNC, Rewati Cup, Buddha Cup and such and string them together to explore and advance / enhance the Nepalese Football in Foreign soil. This means ANFA is only a manager and facilitator of the Nepalese football not an organiser for a tournament such as GNC and NAWS or such. The main purpose of this tournament is to sharpen our Nepalese players and get involved in the grade level in Sydney and get place for our retired players as coaches and managers in at least grade level, ANFA will be working with the Interstate in the same manner in coming days. ANFA is negotiating and will negotiate with the community partners such as SGMRC and various councils to get a permanent ground so that our players can train regular manner. This game is more likely to get participation of Nepalese 18 clubs around Sydney (due to time constraint we were unable to invite interstate players – ANFA sincerely ask for apology)– the selected players by the club managers / captains will be coached and selected by Sydney Wanderers coach Mr. Luiz Ramalho who is highly regarded coach for coaching and selecting for Sydney Wanderers on 27/10, 03/11 and 10/11 and the match will be on 17/11/2013. The training will be for 3 hours each session at Tempe Soccer Ground -2 – the venue map and time has been already circulated by our General secretary to all concerned. This is one of the opportunities that ANFA has created for Nepalese Soccer in Australia and I am sure more to come.
