Now, lets get down to business. 1. You published an article and President Benjamin Mkapa put out a rejoinder on a series of misrepresentations found in the said article. And you think this could for pass for a debate? A rejoinder to an article is a debate? And this also found space in your CV? independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=1632 How can any serious person add such an issue to his CV if not for cheap popularity? And again, l thought you said you debated sitting president Mkapa on globalization in 2007? Was Mkapa a sitting president in 2007? Did this so-called debate happened at the world economic forum? 2. Your original document is explicit: Franklin Cudjoe is an Earhart doctoral fellow at Birmingham university in the UK I pinned you down to explain to me what it means in academia to be a doctoral fellow. And instead of you taking up the challenge, youre running away from your own handwritten CV, and now telling us that, youre a Part-Time PHD student in Buckingham University. And your proof of enrollment is an email correspondence and a mere recommendation for you to be accepted into the programme? How does this pass for certification and attestation? You were not given any student identification number? 3. Your response to my query on the Harvard alumnus claim is also very porous. You said in your original document that youre a Harvard alumnus. I dared you to provide me with evidence and all you could offer for proof is an email correspondence from Harvard Kennedy School Executive program congratulating you on your acceptance to Global Leadership and Public Policy seminar for the 21st Century from 22 Mar 2011 - 01 Apr 2011? 22nd March to 1st April? So, you sit in a 9-day leadership workshop and youre touting yourself as Harvard alumnus? How does a 9-day leadership workshop/seminar pass for a comprehensive alumnus program? Franklin, tell me, within a college and University lexicon, can one be labeled an alumnus without either matriculating or graduating from a said University or college? Which Alumni year group of Harvard do you belong? Can you tell us? 4. Double Recipient- Templeton Freedom Award Grant; In your original CV, you stated categorically that you were a double recipient of Templeton Freedom Award Grant. Hellow, Mr Franklin Cudjoe, per your own admission in your latest response, the Templeton Freedom Award was just a grant to IMANI and not any special award for Franklin Cudjoe. How could you be boasting of an ordinary $10.000 grant which you never received? Can that $10.000 even pay for the maintenance/living allowance of just two semesters at either Buckingham or Harvard? Now, how do you reconcile that with the link you shared from Washington Times? “Ghana has twice the per capita output of poorer West African countries, but it still relies heavily on outside sources for financial assistance. Ghanaians like Franklin Cudjoe want to change that. This is where the Atlas Economic Research Foundation steps in. To help Mr. Cudjoe’s outreach, the foundation this year awarded Imani $10,000 in a general grant, the Templeton Freedom Award Grant.” Atlas foundation? The same Atlas Foundation which was funding IMANI until recently? Ok, let me see if l understand this; Atlas Foundation is one of the donors of IMANI. The foundation awarded IMANI a grant of $10,000 for outreach program, and youre touting yourself as a recipient of some special award from the same foundation that sponsors IMANI? Really? By way, can you tell us why the Atlas Foundation stopped funding IMANI? Or, you want this piece of news to remain a skeleton in your closet? I am sorry but you have cowardly left out some of the critical queries l raised in the original CV you sent me, including you being consulted by the British Prime Ministers office in 2010, MBA program, sitting on DANIDA board etc etc. Is that a tacit admission to the fact that you perpetuated fraud on all of us including your donors? As someone who seeks to shape public policy and thinking, you dont feed the public with wrong personal profile to sell you for what you are not. You and l know what that means, not to talk about a public profile/CV only to turn around to claim otherwise. Please, not all of us are gullible and as dumb as you think. The poverty of your response to the queries raised is mind boggling. I cant believe you kotowed to your PR advisers for this cheap PR gimmick. I thought you were better informed than this. But then again, a leopard they say never changes its spots. My paternal grandfather, Togbui Titriku I once admonished me not to put my finger into someones eye when l know it hurts. He also warned me never to climb a mountain on one foot. I have religiously adhered to his admonishing, and it has served me well. You on the other hand, have consistently put your finger in other peoples eyes when you know pretty well it hurts. Youre being given a taste of your own medicine, and you want to run to court?
