Dear Friends, As a physician Ive been dedicated to my job and in service to my patients to bring health, happiness and freedom to their lives and to medical students, residents and fellows to be excellent, knowledgeable, compassionate physicians of the future for many years. Ive always believed in quality education and equality and never stopped learning. For me, there is always more to learn, more to see, more to read but how about the others who are not fortunate enough like me and like all of you to have the possibility of going to school, getting quality education, living a powerful life with no boundaries and a life that they love? Some of you may already know that Ive been thinking for a good while how I can be a possibility to make differences in peoples lives especially girls and boys who are not as fortunate as we are, living in very difficult conditions in Türkiye and who would be very happy with a toy or a book or a pair of socks in this cold winter. So, time is up for me. As a woman, as a human being, I reach out to provide the needs for education and care. I volunteered to form the New York Giving Circle under Bridge to Türkiye Foundation (BTF) trusting and believing in you being next to me. Friends, I cannot do this alone. I need your support to reach out to more people and be as creative and effective as possible. Please check the website, donate and get involved. The first project is Kızılyusuf Primary School in Muş. Your donations will reach to these kids as coats, shoes and books thorough BTF in the US to Çağdaş Yaşami Destekleme Derneği (ÇYDD) in Türkiye. I am excited and proud to be part of BTF.
