Dear Friends: Details of Research District. This will be Unique to Andhra Pradesh. Recall that I proposed Liberal Arts Multidisciplinary Residential Student Centered Research University with 14 colleges for the capital City of Andhra Pradesh. Also recall that I proposed the capital city structure with 9 Districts. One is the academic District --- University will be located in this district. One other is the Research District. The details of this research district are presented here. The state as well as center funded research centers will be located in this district. They do research that are funded by projects of interest to central ministries including defense, and projects that are of interest to the State agencies, and projects that are of interest to industry and other private institutions. The projects will be funded by the appropriate agencies. Also, these research centers secure funding from the world wide outfits --- Outsourcing. The faculty and students at the University interact with these research centers. 1. Center for Automation 2. Center for Building research 3. Center for Business Development --- Technology Selection, Product Design, Prototyping, Production Preparation, Production Data Documentation, Testing of the Product. 4. Center for Cell Research and Molecular Biology 5. Center for Computer Applications and Computer Security. 6. Center for communications 7. Center for Conservation and Productivity 8. Center for Consumer Products 9. Center for Defense Research --- unmanned Air Vehicles. 10. Center for Electronics and Optics 11. Center for Food Processing 12. Center for Fuel Cell research 13. Center for Infrastructures ---Bridges, Roads, Railways, Airports, Transportation. 14. Center for Materials --- Metallic, Ceramic, Semiconductors, Bio Materials 15. Center for Medical devices. 16. Center for Nanotechnology 17. Center for Petroleum and Coal 18. Center for Pharmaceutical Research and Drug Delivery. 19. Center for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. 20.
