Dear Friends: Greeting from Peach Congregation! We are adventuring into a new children’s program called, Godly Play. This is a hands on Montessori method used in religious education. We are excited about this adventure and have hired a lead teacher that will be teaching stories using a “hands-on” technique. This program will be available to all children ages 4-10 years old. We are requesting volunteers to assist in a “Doorkeeper” role each Sunday. We are asking that individuals volunteer for 1-2 Sundays this fall. In a doorkeeper role, we are asking that you assist the lead teacher during godly play. Your responsibility will be limited to participation with enthusiasm on the Sunday that you volunteer during Godly Play. Godly Play will start each Sunday following the last hymn prior to Susie’s message. For those who wish to volunteer or receive additional information we will be offering an orientation (including pizza) on 9/8 following the service.
