Dear Friends, I am sharing with you the 2nd version of this beautiful, meaningful song written by Thomas Peterson, for your listening pleasure. :-) I hope you enjoy this collaboration with my friend, Thomas Peterson. Singing this style of music is new for me and I have thoroughly enjoyed singing Thomass wonderful song with a message, a message, although coming from a womans point of view, could as well be the same from the mans point of view. I deeply feel that it is truly the sign of a strong human being, who can love another unconditionally, without breaking the relationship of the one he/she loves, without hurting anyone. When people in love become possessive about the one they claim to love, and demand they leave the husband/wife their object of affection are with, and marry him/her, then that love is not true love and will never work out. You know dear friends, for this track, and hopefully all the subsequent upcoming songs too, I have managed to get rid of much of the microphone sound by using a kitchen scrub I found in my kitchen, and my hair net, which I use to put around my long hair when I roll it up in a bun. I took these two items and put it on my old microphone head, securing them with a tight rubber band, and voila! Most of the sounds disappeared. Then my husband bought for me a better and proper sponge covering for my old microphone head and it sounds so much better now for the song A Real Woman. However, there was still the problem of me trying to sing to the already set beat or pace of the already composed music track. I always pick up the melody and then record my vocals from memory, so in the process, the timing goes out of sync, and my friend and brother, Marco Turinni, with extreme patience and kindness, takes the time to snip, cut move, etc., each of my vocal phrases to match the pace of the music. It is not at all easy for him, I am deeply grateful to him for that, more than he knows or realizes. Yesterday, I discussed this problem with my husband. He listened an gave me a pair of ear plugs he had, so I can listen to my music while recording the vocals of the song, to minimize the sync issue.
