Dear Friends, I am so pleased to inform you all that in the Meeting of National Council for 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations for Nursing cadre has been finalized. The key points of final draft are following:- 1. The Entry Pay Scale of the Nursing Cadre proposed (Staff Nurse)in PB-3 &GP 5400 proposed with 29900-104400 GP-16200 entry pay-63000 2. Nursing sister in PB-3 & GP-6600 proposed with 46800-117300 GP-19800 entry pay-76590 3. Assist. Nursing Supt. in PB-3 & GP-7600 proposed with PB-346800-117300 GP-22800 entry pay-88500 4. Dy.Nursing Supt. in PB-4 &GP-8700 Proposed with 112200-200100 GP-26100 entry pay 138300 5. Nursing Supt. in PB-4 &GP-8900 Proposed with 112200-200100 GP-26700 entry pay 147300 6. Chief Nursing Officer in PB-4 with GP-10000 proposed with 112200-200100 GP-30000 entry pay-159000 Other Recommendations :- 1. Nursing allowance is proposed from 3200(presently-4800) to 12000. 2. Non practicing Allowance @ 25% of Basic pay and should be include in basic pay for calculating DA on Basic Pay. 3. Risk Allowance @ 5000/pm 4. 2 Additional Increment for BSC and 3 Increments for MSC people which should be increase as basic salary will increase every year @ 3% increment. 5. Special Area allowance @ 2400/MTH 6. Convenyence Allowance @ 5000/MTN along with transportation allowance as doctors are already enjoying it as 4 wheeler petrol allowance. 7. Full pay (including all allowances) should be given to all employees while doing In Service education as post basic Bsc or MSc nursing.As doctors are already getting this for MD/MS. 8. Anomalies /Disparity in 6 CPC should be sort out. 9. News Paper allowance at all levels for nursing cadre. 10. Telephone/Internet allowance at all level @ 1000/MTH. 11. Rent free accommodations should be provided as nurses are in essential category of health department and where accommodations will not available the HRA rates should be revise by 15%,25% and 35% of basic pay. These are key features of the draft which is finalized by national council of nurses for 7 CPC on the memorandum submitted by All India ESIC Nurses Federation, Delhi Nurses Union, Aiims Nurses Union, Association of Railways Nurses of India andno other urban nurses unions and will be applicable for all nurses in India.
