Dear Friends, I guess we all have those days... that everything we do tends to leave things worse than they already were. In this case of a lateral incisor with a separated instrument, I started thinking I would easily bypass it. Well, things not always go the way we plan. So at the end of the first appointment I went from a broken file that I was able to bypass to having an instrument half way to the peri-apical tissues. In the next visit my thoughts were only in removing that instrument, even if I had to access it surgically. Don´t take it lightly, its always a challenge. Just don´t give up without a good fight:) just think, IT will not happen on your watch:) File removed with US K files canal obturated with MTA + gutta
