Dear Friends. I have experienced many moving moments in my career thus far. Meeting people from all walks of life, but this is one story that opened my eyes to the reality of drug abuse and the real impact it has on families and communities. Nyoape is a drug that has taken over the youth of Mamelodi, Pretoria. Mam Nomonde is one woman who is making a difference by helping these kids at the Second Chance Recovery Centre in the Heart of the township. Despite the loss of her own son, she persues her mission saving one child at a time, giving them a second chance in life.
