Dear Friends, I typically do not talk a lot about my lenten promises, but this year is a special case. This Lent, Im giving up my cell phone. The past two days have been liberating being able to be completely present to people and not attached to my phone that consistently has something to distract me. How am I doing this you ask? Im basically using it as a home phone. If you call me, Ill call you back when I get home. If you text me, Ill call (thats right, call) you back when I get home.
