Dear Friends: I visited Calvarys Mission Food Pantry to serve food to the community. Hunger is my platform for The Miss World Guyana 2014 Pageant and I am promoting my platform. Calvary’s Mission is an International Christian Hunger and Humanitarian Development Relief Organization with headquarters in Queens, New York. They deliver food, medicine, clothing and other necessities to individuals, children and families who is in need of this. The food pantry is located at 102-16 89th Avenue, Richmond Hill, NY 11418. It is open every Saturday from 9AM to 10AM, rain or shine, hot or cold. This Mission was founded in 2000. Food is given to more than 800 families per Saturday. A lot of people who visit the pantry have low paying jobs and cannot depend on their income for all of the food they need.
