Dear Friends: Im writing to share with you White Bear Vision: A Native American Event that will be happening in Serbia in the summer of next year, what will involve the coming together of different Native American tribes toward the end of helping to build greater unity among indigenous peoples. The cornerstone of our presentation will be the unveiling of a two-hour documentary depicting legendary Hopi elder White Bear giving a tour of the Hopis holiest sites in Arizona and New Mexico. White Bears nephew Ernie Northrup, whose family has been caretaking Prophecy Rock at Oraibi in Hopiland for 700 years, will then give a lecture about the film and his culture. During a time in which humanity has lost its way in forgetting how to be a caretaker of the earth, there are few causes more significant, in my humble opinion.
