Dear Friends & Leaders... Greetings for New Year 2015 from rebuilduttarakhand.in (Initiative of SFID on behalf of Dist. Admn, Rudraprayag). Friends, as you know SFID was nominated by DM, Rudraprayag to keep the flow of information, reports and presentations in virtual work for easy access for Govt., Non Govt., Corporates world for their CSR programs in disaster affected regions of Rudraprayag. The project was supported by SEWA THDC (social wing of THDC India Ltd.), under the collective CSR program of power sector PSUs with National Disaster Management Authority, Govt. of India. We initiated, designed and conceptualised this comprehensive Webportal rebuilduttarakhand.in and requested all stakeholders to please support by sending information of their work and sharing with each other without any hindrance and delay. Which helped all of us to know each other and about their R & R work. We are thankful to all agencies (NGOs, CSOs, Govt. Academia etc.) for feeding us with relevant reports, information’s etc. for the “Relief & Rehab” work they have been doing for the past 18 months. We are also thankful to DM, Rudraprayag, NIC, Rudraprayag, and SEWA THDC/Rishikesh for their regular guidance and support to carry on this mission . As we are about to complete our assignment and lot of Data , Reports, Videos are uploaded for your reference and now time has come when we have to submit final Data, Report to Govt. (DM Rudraprayag) in digital format. I am sure the R & R work you all are doing must be completed or in the final stage , therefore I personally request you all to please share the reports, Videos, PPTs, Youtube links etc. for the work done for sharing with others. 2nd: We are also planning to depute a team of volunteer (3rd Week of Jan. 15) to take video recording of such successful models and to interviews of champions and role models in the region , who have done great work in the past 18 months in the extreme working conditions for showcasing purely for learning purpose. There fore request you all to Pls. send the details and send back the enclosed form, in case you feel such footage and documentation of your work is relevant to put in the digital record.
