Dear Friends, Life. Its about watching your cat walk across the room, look at you, meow, and then lay on their back and watching them stretch and slowly slip away into dreamland. Its about that perfect double espresso with a dollop of foam and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Its about the sun peaking through the shades hinting at a brand new day. Its about that unexpected I love you from someone. Its the perfect song playing that you just have to roll your car windows down and sing at the top of your lungs. Its about snuggling up on your sofa, with a blanket, a cup of tea, and a great book. Its about coming in from the rain and throwing on a pair of warm clothes and watching the rainfall from the window. Its those warm towels that just came out of the dryer. Its about a stranger holding the elevator door open for you or that hello you werent expecting. Its about all of it and it has nothing to do with what you do, how much money you make, what car you drive, or how many likes or friends you have. Your happiness or lack thereof, has nothing to do with your crooked nose, perfect teeth, extra chin, luxurious hair, or extra tummy roll. Lifes beautiful moments exist in the in between times. In the times you usually overlook when you look back at what youve experienced or accomplished, not realizing that THAT is life. THAT is where you are living! Each one of those perfectly designed moments that bring a smile to your soul and make the corners of your mouth sneak up into a little smile. That is JOY!
