Dear Friends, Many of you know of a group called Socialist Alternative (aptly initialled SA). They are (to put it mildly) a group of Far-Left Nazis who wholeheartedly support Islamic Extremism and effectively behave like a gang inside universities intimidating through threat of and actual physical violence Liberal students, Jewish students, or anyone who dares to disagree with them. It was their members who burned and stomped on the Australian flag about a month ago, in a well-publicized incident. They are also the ones who try and attack any speakers they do not like, and physically pprevent them from speaking. After finally crosing one too many lines, Monash University has finally de-registered their gang (in other words, itll stop receiving University funding and support to promote their activities) But they are appealing this - I urge you all to please sign this petition to keep them de-registered. They are political extremists and are by every definition, fascists. Political extremism - whether its cloaked in a brown shirt and a swastika or in a Che Guevara T-shirt and a Red Flag - needs to be exposed for what it truly is: an ignorant, violent, intolerant, undemocratic movement that has no place in Australia.
