Dear Friends, On 21 June 2013, 4pm, on behalf of the Yew Tee CC YEC, we activated the "Heart" button, a YEC Youth Engagement Process. As part of the process of activating the "Heart" button, Youth Leaders from the Youth Club are informed and shared on the upcoming important operation , Yew Tee Operation: Hearts Against Haze! that will be held this coming Sunday, 23 June 2013 through our communication channels. The whole operation process encourages our leaders to share and recruit as many volunteers as possible for this meaningful project to help to distribute the fans to our needy residents staying in the rental blocks unit and collate the number and pass the volunteers information to my YEC team for OPs Planning. The operation on Sunday will be led by our adviser, Mr Alex Yam As part of our Youth Club continuous outreached and engagement to Youths from Yew Tee Constituency and Students from our neighbourhood schools, within the short span of few hours at lightning speed, we recruited around 18 youth volunteers from schools to friends to join us for this Sunday operation. Thanks to all my Youth Leaders for all your efforts in rallying for volunteer when the button was pressed. I strongly believe that the number of volunteers will continue to increase within the next two and YES, we will like to invite all residents who like to volunteer to join us, any age as long as you want to volunteer and be able to fulfil the volunteer scope given. Another process which was part of the activation is to extend our call for volunteers to our sister YECs in the region. Information on the operation was communicated to the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson in calling all hands for help. Thanks Aaralyn, Wei Ping and Meisiew for giving my team the fullest support. I hope to rally to all friends and volunteers to join us this Sunday Operation to play a part in providing care for our needy residents staying in the rental blocks unit.
