Dear Friends, Something truly upsetting has been quietly taking over my community in the last few years. One by one, beautiful souls, for reasons not quite understood by all of us, beautiful young men who seem to have it all, have been taking their own lives. I have a personal understanding of despondency, but I am lucky to have a close group of friends and family to reach out to, and a strong desire to celebrate life and help other people understand the joy of the light at the end of the tunnel. That is why Im helping my friend, Brian Kent, with his efforts to raise funds by participating in the San Francisco Walk, benefiting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). I ask each of you to visit his fundraising page and consider a making a small donation to help him reach his goal, as he walks, so that we can all hold hands and find a way to celebrate life together on our own personal journeys.
