Dear Friends-The election is behind us and now the real work begins. My next mission is to empower women to have courage to leave violence behind them. Women who have left a violent relationship are HEROS. They are heroes because they have stopped the violence. And in doing so have helped prevent the next generation develop into perpetrators. To all the women who have been brave, courageous and struggled you are our nations un sung HEROES. It is you and you alone who have stopped the violence from passing on. I salute you all.
