Dear Friends, Three Popes: John Paul II, Benedict XVI and - TopicsExpress

Dear Friends, Three Popes: John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis leave us with no illusions. They explicitly and clearly say that EVERY one of us who was baptised is CALLED UPON to testify about Jesus Christ. In what way? Above all by our own life. “Look how they love each other” said the astonished pagans in view of the phenomenon of love that reigned amidst Christians of the first centuries. This was a kind of love that the world was not accustomed to, a love in which it was impossible to believe. Today’s reality is the same. The contemporary world suffers from a lack of love, a love whose sole origin is Jesus Christ. Through whom does Jesus intend to alleviate this suffering? Through us, Christians! This testimony is also an account of what Jesus did in the life of each and every one of us. Here I will refer to the words of St. Paul the Apostle because we should be guided by them every day: “I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom: preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with all patience and teaching. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts. And will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables. But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.” (The Second Letter of St. Paul to Timothy 4, 1-5) Stay with God, Priest Adam Kaczor
