Dear Friends, Today I was agreeable surprised!!! I received a wonderful gift from a dear friend in USA, with 10 varieties I love a lot. September is always the best month for me, because I usually receive this kind of gifts, the temperatures rise and one can feel Spring everywhere. All the trees in the streets have already sprouted new leaves, and our hibiscus (the ones that have survived planted in the ground) like this a lot. I have posted 3 photos in order to show the wood arrived in excellent condition, even though my friend just followed my instructions on Sending Wood Abroad for the first time... In the photo in the middle, you can see the wood arrived with new leaves sprouted during the trip. BTW, the delay was 21 days, and if all the procedures I recommend are followed, this is the result we get. Look at the last photo, that shows in detail how the sanitary pad is wrapped or within a thin polyethylene film to avoid direct contact with the wood, and opened at both ends, so that water can go to the vapour phase and so humidity be available to the pieces of wood.
