Dear Friends, Tomorrow I am leaving Erbil, where I have served proudly and happily for the last two years. It has been a pleasure and honor for me to live in such a hospitable and friendly environment, to work alongside and hang out with such wonderful people and play football among such talented players :) I believe I’ve made many lifetime friends during my tenure here and I am so happy to see the level that Turkey-IKR relations have reached in the last two years. I hope I contributed to this process even if just a bit. The people of Iraqi Kurdistan Region will always have a special place in my heart. As of 15th of August I will begin my duty as Vice Consul in Turkish Consulate General in Houston, Texas. So if you ever stop by Houston please let me know beforehand so I can host you.
