Dear Friends, We must be doing something right. The Queens County (Rockaway) St. Patricks Day Parade Committee has chosen me to be a Deputy Grand Marshal for the 2014 Parade. I am honored to be recognized for our efforts to support the Queens Rockaway Beach Line, the Queens Rockaway Ferry, the elimination of the unfair tolls on the Queens Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge, and expanding the NYC Transit System to reduce excessive overcrowding and travel times on our roadways, buses and trains in Queens. I am also a proud member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 21, Rockaway Beach/ Breezy Point NY since 1986. I am also a proud member of the NY Rising Community Reconstruction program. I am also a grateful member of the New York City Police Department for over 23 years. There are two functions coming up. The first is the Hearts and Shamrocks event which is being held at St. Camillus Church Hall. The event starts at 7pm and goes on to 12 pm. This is on Saturday January 25th. The second function, The Galla Installation Ball, is on February 15, 2014 at, Antuns Of Queens Village, located 96-43 Springfield Blvd, in Queens Village. This function is, the highlight of the Queens County St. Patricks Day Parade.
