It is a pride to honor the men and women who serve our nation and it was a great honor for us to share our gratitude in your BTP office this morning. Kudos to SI Divakar and his Facebook team of Traffic Management Center and SI Divakar also invited the High grounds police officers to extend the appreciation and gratitude. We truly appreciate the hospitality and teamwork of BTP! The “dilapidated steel railings” used for the storm water drain in Millers Road were “broken” causing severe threat to motorists and causing halt/snail pace traffic movement in this junction but there has been no authorities to address this issue. In order to avoid any severe mishaps the railings were guarded with temporary barricades by the “Bangalore Traffic Police”. This issue was reported to the Bangalore Traffic Police through their Facebook page on 25 May 2014 by John Jacob and Uthaiah Ganapathy, residents of Benson Town. This was a severe threat to motorist and especially the traffic pile up has been eliminated. The Traffic Management Centre engaged the High grounds police station and they have coordinated with the BBMP office to address this concern within 48 hours. The Executive Engineer, Mr Nagaraj, from BBMP has inspected the spot and performed the maintenance of this gratings. Myself and Uthaiah Ganapathy had a chance to visit the spot on 28 May 2014 and discussed with engineer, Mr Nagaraj, and he had committed to complete this repairs by 29 May 2014. In the past through the intervention of BTP, we have fixed various issues related to pot holes in the jurisdiction of J C Nagar police station limits. I am grateful for your commitment to the citizens of Bangalore and it was a pleasure to visit all of you today in the “Traffic Management Centre of Bangalore” and I amazed by the effective streaming technologies used by the BTP. Public and Police co-ordination will surely address various issues across the city and we look forward for more participation from the citizens of Bangalore. The Bangalore traffic police deserve our thanks throughout and we will continue honoring them for the work they do each and every day. It is a pride to honor the men and women who serve our nation and it was a great honour for us to share our gratitude in your BTP office this morning. Every day, the officers like you assume this responsibility with passion and professionalism in the state and in every town. With unmatched perseverance, you deliver the critical resources and services to the citizens of Karnataka. You push the boundaries of science, which keeps on the innovation in your offices and especially the “Traffic Management Centre of Bangalore”. Each of you has specific duties and you perform on behalf of our citizens and working together with you we can achieve the higher benchmarks. I would like to close this note stating, that we would like to partner with the Bangalore Traffic Police to address such concerns and to celebrate the success together with the citizens.
