Prayer Flags Saturday, March 29th 1:00 pm to 5pm For Christians, the prayer flags embody perpetual prayers and worship to God. They may be decorated with images, scriptures, prayers etc. Each participant will create 5 rectangular small flags, using stencils, paint sticks, beads, stamps and other embellishments. These will be strung on twine to be hung and displayed as visual prayers. $45.00 Prayer Beads Saturday, April 5th 10:00am to 1:30pm Create your own set of prayer beads to facilitate focus and direction in prayer. Learn how to use them and participate in a group prayer session. We will use the book A Bead and a Prayer by Kristen E. Vincent as a guide. You may want to order it ahead from Amazon. A list of materials will be sent to you so you can purchase your beads ahead of time to bring with you. $35.00 Prayer of Heart and Body Saturday, April 26th 10am to 12:30pm Learn what defines a Christ centered yoga practice and then experience it for yourself. The yoga practice will include praying a psalm with simple yoga postures and will culminate in the contemplative prayer practice of lectio divina or meditative praying of scripture.
