Dear Friends and Award Fans all over the world, We in India set out in March 2010 to bring on board the do gooders of the Award Family, and formed the Gold Award Holders Society in India. Time now for us to Go And Help Society - GAHS, and this is best done by us as individuals, we simply do our very own good. The Society that brought together near 200 alumni of IAYP did have a purpose and helped us network, share are good work and even do our good work. The Executive Committee of the society with Ishita Khanna as President has now taken a conscious decision to wind up the registered society, as the prohibitive cost of fillings and maintaining the records is eating up our resources. Further good work does not need funds, it needs good people. The Gold holders are all special as they are doing the good in their way and thus the society has no reason to exist. Ishita Khanna, Tripti Bansal, Juzer Shaikhally, Capt Rohit Saxena, Pranay Kapoor, Saachi Sarin and Sandeep have been the executive board for three years and have now taken the call to wind up the Society and donate the balance money in hand to the AWARD PROGRAMME FOUNDATION. If any individual is desirous for a copy of the account please email to Manish (acm@ebdmail) and he will he happy to provide the same. We have to thank Manish, Chittaranjan, Nivedita, Bivujit Sir and a host of people I have not listed for their support and voluntarism.
