Dear Friends and Colleagues, I’m writing to inform you of a rally on Capitol Hill on October 1st. A coalition of advocacy groups (including PROP) have organized the event. The rally is a call to action for an urgent, coordinated federal response to the epidemic of opioid addiction and overdose deaths. More specifically, we want our federal agencies to work together on strategies to prevent new cases of opioid addiction, to prevent drug overdose deaths and to expand access to evidence-based addiction treatment.
